So we won again last night, we really need Green Bay to loose today......seriously! We want to play the Packers at Texas Stadium in the playoffs! Everyone cross your fingers! Isn't Jason Witten just the cutest thing? I just love my tight ends!

America's Top Model Party!

I had the best time today! My friend Christy's daughter had a Glamour Shots turned America's Top Model Party, I got to be the photographer! It was such a blast and these girls had so much fun...here are a few photos from the day. There is many many more, they even got to make their own modeling portfolio, there was cake, and it started snowing! What a great day.

New Stuff!

Well after alot of thought, I have finally moved from Canon to Nikon. And in a big way!!!! Thanks to a great friend that believes I can do this for a living...here is a list of new equipment.....

18-135 Nikon lens (Yes!!! Nikon glass!)

2 soft boxes and one Strobe Umbrella Flash.......

I am still waiting on the lens to come in, but the camera is WAY cool. I just set up the lights tonight and they too are cool. I am going to play with them and my Canon tomorrow with the kids and we will see what we get!

So now I have to make some real money at this! I am going to hit pretty hard on senior portraits next year and hopefully pic up a wedding or two........

Brittany will be flying down in a month or so for bridal portraits and I will be going to Texas in April for the wedding. I can't believe she is getting married!!!!! But hopefully I will pick up a paid wedding or two in the next year.

Friday I am shooting a 10 year old girls birthday party, a " GlamourShots" party. That ought to be lots of fun, and I will post pics when I get home.

Wow! What a beautiful girl I got to take photos of today..Aneiszka and I started the day early at Woodlan Park and ended up at her house with her horse. Here are a few of the photos. I hope there are many more of her, she was such a joy to photograph.

The Craigs

Today was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day in Colorado Springs for photos! The Craigs are family friends and I was just delighted to be able to take pictures of them. We were at Mounment Valley Park, I have a feeling I will be doing many more photos there.

New Watermark!

Thanks to the most awesome best friend in the world I now have a new watermark for my photos!! I can edit a photo all day long, but to actually do graphics I am at a loss! The Benfords

A couple of weekends ago I did the Benford Family Photos. It was COLD, but they were troopers. I ordered proofs for them and tried something new on photos, Metallic Paper! OH WOW!!! It gave these photos almost a 3D effect. Here are a few from the shoot. This was the first family photos they had done in years, so they wanted something a little more traditional.

In Denver

So I am in Denver at Jeff's house. He had surgery today and I was just coming in to help out. he totally cheated on me with the 6th season of Gilmore Girls! Can you believe that your best girlfriend would do that. So anyway...serious Gilmore Girls marathon today. I only have 2 more disks left.

So I have about decided that if about $2000.00 dollars doesn't fall out of the sky, I am not going to be able to seriously upgrade my camera. THEN I walked outside to smoke a cigarette in the freezing cold and there out of nowhere was a falling star. WOW! So not that I think $2000.00 is going to fall into my lap, but maybe a little hope after all. A falling star is always a good thing. I don't care that 4,000,000 other people saw it, I always think that it is just for me!

I will be back home tomorrow evening. The cheater is coming home for a few days with me until he is feeling better, he says he was fine today, but I am sure that is just until he wakes up in the morning at which time I will still be watching the 6th season of Gilmore Girls by myself!

Welcome!

I have decided to start this so that everyone can come and see photos instead of e-mailing them and putting them on myspace. I work full time so squeezing everyone in this late in the season has been a chore, but we are getting it done. I have had great subjects recently and the backdrop of the Rockies doesn't hurt either. I will do my best to keep this up even though I am not famous for my blogging skills!
